Wag It Games (WIGs) are a recent introduction to the UK and are fun, fun, fun for both dog and handler.
A little like Rally but with so many more skills to learn, e.g. the dog works on both sides of the handler.
Exercises include Spins at the handler’s side, recalls, turns, changes of side, heeling behind the handler, changes of pace, heeling backwards, etc.
Great for building body awareness and developing a deeper relationship with your dog.
Exercises include recall over a jump, send to a mat, send round a cone, push an Easy Button, go through a hoop and so much more.
Suitable for all ages and abilities, low impact. Accuracy more important than speed
Three levels, disabled dogs and handlers welcome.
Many of the exercises can be used to spice up your everyday walks and some of them are excellent for reactive dogs.
